    Our first research away day since the start of the pandemic took place in May 2022, and saw record numbers attending – both in person and via zoom! – and a diverse range of topics and speakers

    PHaCT Trial: improving health for people leaving prison

    In the first study of its kind, Health Economics and Health Technology Assessment's Prof Jim Lewsey and Dr Manuela Deidda with a team from the Universities of Glasgow, Cardiff, Heriot-Watt and Glyndwr will pilot a randomised trial to see whether a housing-led "critical time intervention" can prevent homelessness and improve health in a population of male prison leavers

    A video created by the MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit "Outdoor nature-based childcare in Scotland", was awarded the Best Virtual Presentation by the Early Care and Education Special Interest Group of the International Society for Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity (ISBNPA) at their annual conference
